Thank you all for such an amazing first year in Moab! I feel so much pride in our school community and the commitment that we all share in making HMK a place where every student can be successful. As the school year draws to an end, we encourage students and families to finish strong. Testing season can be a stressful time for both students and teachers, so let's rally around them, and provide students and teachers alike with everything they need to feel confident in doing well. I look forward to another great school year here at HMK and I wish everyone a happy and relaxing summer break!
Police received a report of a possible threat to a Grand County School. The incident has been investigated and resolved. Students and staff were held in place in classrooms, offices, etc., for a brief time during the investigation by law enforcement.
The investigation found that the incident resulted from a joke made by a student, and the threat was not credible. The hold-in-place order has been lifted and investigators determined that there is no danger to students and staff.

As a result, any communication you previously received in the mail about your child’s Kindergarten schedule is now void. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding and flexibility. Please click here for an updated schedule.
