Principal's Message

Dear Parents and Students,

As the school year comes to a close, I find myself filled with both pride and deep gratitude. What an incredible journey we've had together! This year has been marked by growth, resilience, laughter, and countless achievements-and yes, even one unforgettable moment involving duct tape.

Ending the year literally stuck to the wall was the perfect (slightly sticky) reminder of what makes this community so special. We set bold goals, supported one another, and celebrated every milestone--big and small--with joy and enthusiasm. I am so proud of what we've accomplished together and the spirit of teamwork and determination that lives in our small community.

As I prepare to say goodbye, I want to thank each of you--students, staff, and families--for allowing me the honor of serving as your principal. It has been a privilege to witness the incredible learning, leadership, and care that thrives here at HMK. I will carry the memories and relationships from this school with me always.

Looking ahead, I am excited to introduce and welcome your new principal, Holly Harris. She brings a wealth of experience, a deep love for students, and a strong commitment to continue the great work that we've started. I have confidence that under her leadership, HMK will continue to flourish and grow in amazing ways.

Thank you again for a wonderful, successful two-years. I leave with a full heart and best wishes for this beautiful community. May you all have a restful summer and continued success!

Kindergarten Pre-Registration

!!!ATTENTION!!!
If you have a student that will be turning 5 on or before Sept.1st and you are planning on having them attend KINDERGARTEN at HMK for the 2026-2027 school year please fill out the following form. You may scan the QR code or click the link below.
THIS FORM IS NOT FOR ACTUAL SCHOOL REGISTRATION. This form is to give HMK an idea of how many upcoming students will be entering kindergarten this year, as well as helping with class placements. PLEASE keep in mind you will need to REGISTER your child for the upcoming school year when registration opens in JULY/AUGUST.

Does your child enjoy cheer or want to give it a try? We are happy to say that our Middle School is continuing it's Cheerleading Team next school year. Sign-ups are open now! This sport is open to boys and girls, no one is excluded! See the flyer for more information.
